This is a virtual edition of our user group, with a special focus on PowerShell Developer technologies, Azure and of course a deep dive into PowerShell. We have made the decision to host this event virtually again, and we are excited to be able to open up our local user group to the global stage! We have an evening with diverse and advanced topics prepared for you presented by experienced speakers. Registration through Eventbrite is optional, with the benefit that you’ll receive an email notification with the streaming link and a calendar invite.

Profiling your scripts with Profiler & Pester 5 Code Coverage made faster
Profiler is a new module that revolutionizes debugging performance and finding hotspots in PowerShell scripts. Give it a piece of script, module function, or even something as complex as a whole Pester suite run, and it will tell you what code exactly was run, and which parts of that code are slow. It’s simply amazing. I am not joking: Two years ago, before I had Profiler, I’ve spend a month manually optimizing Pester code to get 30% gain in performance. But with Profiler, I was able to squeeze out 10% more speed in under an hour. So join me, and learn how to impress your friends by taking that script that takes 10 minutes to run, and optimizing it down to take less than 1 minute. I will also show how profiling code, and Pester code coverage are similar, and how I used Profiler to make Pester code coverage few times faster.
Bicep & PSArm: level up your Azure Infra as Code
If you’ve been working with ARM templates, you have probably heard about Bicep. If you are active in the PowerShell community, you have probably also heard about PSARM. What are these new tools and how can they help you manage Azure infrastructure as code? In this session we will take a quick look at both. After that, don’t be scared to open your mic, as we really want to know what your experience has been.
