The session information for tomorrow evening:
Session title: CIM Explained
Session abstract: In Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 the CIM PowerShell cmdlets were introduced. But what is CIM? CIM isn’t a Microsoft invention, but an open standard which Microsoft has embraced. Also other companies such as Cisco, HP, Dell and NetApp have integrated this open standard in their solutions. Come to this session and I’ll explain what CIM is, how it works, how Microsoft makes use of this and of course the theoretical and practical differences between WMI and CIM (and their PowerShell cmdlets).
Speaker: Jeff Wouters
Microsoft MVP for Windows PowerShell, world wide speaker at many conferences. His blog is available at www.jeffwouters.nl and he is the founding member of the Dutch PowerShell User Group.
Note: There are only 30 tickets available!
